85lbs. GONE!

[truth] "I was very unhappy with myself - how I felt, how I looked, how I projected myself to the world. I was always uncomfortable in my clothes and just moving around in the outside world."

-------

THEN

🙍‍♀️

I was extremely overweight.

😞

I thought that working out was unobtainable for me, that I didn’t have what it takes to stay consistent with any sort of health or fitness routine.

😑

My priorities lied with staying with the status quo, taking the easy way and not putting in the work needed to be successful.

There was no routine back then. I didn’t work out I didn’t do any sort of activities at all.

🛋

I went to work, I went home, I stayed on the couch and I ate whatever I wanted.

-------

NOW

💥

I lost 85 pounds doing CrossFit.

✅

My priorities lie with making sure that I take time out for myself and at least work out 3 to 4 times a week. I also have started a healthy eating habits. Totally changed my diet and learned to love different kind of vegetables and proteins.

😁

My mindset is totally different now. I am very motivated. I feel that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to if I put in the work. I am a lot happier with myself now with my

. But I’m still definitely a work in progress.

Two things make me come and keep coming back to CrossFit 845.

1. The people are amazing. I have met some amazing women in my classes. We keep each other motivated and accountable.

2. Challenging myself on a daily basis and accomplishing the modified version of the workouts. It helps me in my every day life to be more confident with dealing with people and setting goals

[myth about CrossFit] That everyone would be cliquish and no one would accept me. That is a total myth! From the moment I stepped in the door every person has been welcoming, encouraging and accepting.

💥

IF YOU'RE STUCK LIKE I WAS: The best advice I can give is that it can’t hurt to just try it out. That was the biggest hurdle for me was getting in the door but once you get in the door and actually accomplish a work out do you wanna continue to come back.
