I grew up playing all things sports and love to compete, which was a necessary life skill being the youngest of 4 kids in my family. If I didn't compete every day, that meant less food at dinner, losing my seat on the couch, or just a general beating from my older brothers. As I grew older, living in Yorktown, NY, lacrosse became my passion and focus for over 20 years and led me to play at the D1 level at Johns Hopkins University. I had the unique opportunity to train under legendary weightlifting coach Bill Starr, while in college as he was our strength and conditioning coach. After college I enjoyed a 9-year professional career in Major League Lacrosse, winning 3 championships with the Philadelphia franchise. As my lacrosse career came to an end, my desire to compete did not change. I shifted gears to Crossfit in 2009 while re-defining myself as an athlete throwing my hat in the endurance world of triathlon. Combining Crossfit and Triathlon became my new passion for the last 10 years. I have done triathlons of all distances from sprints, Olympic, half-iron, and twice completed the Ironman distance.

Seeing people make a positive change for themselves motivates me as a coach. Your rise in confidence, how you carry yourself, and the ultimate change in mindset throughout the training process is what makes me want to come back each day.
